Meet Our Managing Director

Mr. Sultan Mahmud

Born in Muksudpur, Bangladesh, Sultan Mahmud is a respected entrepreneur with over 36 years of experience in shipbuilding and marine business. He serves as President of JS Trading Company Ltd. and Japan Bangladesh Dockyard & Shipbuilders Limited (JBDSL). His leadership focuses on innovation, quality, and responsible business growth.

Beyond business, he actively supports education, community development, and charitable initiatives. In 2023, he was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as a Commercially Important Person (CIP).
